The contract

Scope and approach

The Hajj Complex at Lahore processes, briefs and accommodates pilgrims departing for Hajj. This contract covers the training auditorium, delivered for the Pakistan Public Works Department as ADP work.

A pilgrim facility is judged on how it performs under a short, intense annual peak, when thousands of people move through it in a matter of days. That drives everything: circulation sized for peak flow rather than average occupancy, finishes specified for heavy short-cycle use, and services designed to be maintained by the operating department between seasons.

It is one of three separate awards Al-Meezan has held at the complex, alongside the administration block and its standby power provision.
